Newroz in London will be celebrated on 20th March

This year’s Newroz celebrations in London will be held by the Kurdish Community Centre at Finsbury Park.

This year’s Newroz celebrations in London will theme the rallying slogan ‘Dem Dema Azadiye’ (It is time for freedom).
The central Newroz celebrations that will take place in Finsbury Park will host Kurdish politician Osman Baydemir, and musicians such as Ferhat Tunc, Serhado, Omid Sharifi, Hozan Cane and Koma Zelal.
Elif Sarican, co-chair of Kurdish People’s Assembly in Britain, extends invitations to the Kurdish community and their friends to “join in on the 20th March in the spirit of Newroz to call for freedom, peace and democracy”.
